Through the impressive fortified estate of Terra Nova, a team of guides will recount the site’s proud past. Deep in its bowels, under the ramparts, extends an incredible underground network, an authentic buried military base from the XVI to the XX century. Up above, a small train criss-crosses the various levels of the citadel. Exhibitions and videos complete the discovery of this formidable fortress. The site is accessible regardless of the weather.
Numerous (group) events and (group) activities are organised on the site for all tastes and all ages, at the Citadel, the tourist pearl of Namur!
Guided visits: on the little train with commentary, in the underground passageways and “La Médiévale”.
• The visit to the estate on the little tourist train offers magnificent panoramic views of Namur and the Meuse Valley.
• The guided visit to the largest underground passages in Europe inside a Citadel (combined with a visit to the models room).
