Selexyz Dominicanen in Maastricht is the most beautiful bookshop in the world, according to The Guardian. Since the autumn of 2006, the bookshop Selexyz Dominicanen is settled in the 800 year old Dominican Church, near the Vrijthof.
The architectural firm Merkx+Girod designed the extraordinary interior of Selexyz Dominicanen. In 2007, the design won the most renowned interior design price in the Netherlands, The Lensvelt Architect interieurprijs.
Selexyz will inspire you with its wide selection in a very special atmosphere. There is a wide range of popular books and books for professionals.
The previous sanctuary is regularly used as a cultural stage for lectures and debates. You can also enjoy a lovely cappuccino or lunch, provided by Blanche Dael Coffeelovers.
