The Friday Market is held around the town hall on the renovated marketplace. The market includes 375 stalls with a wide variety of articles: vegetables, cheese, fabrics, fish, flowers, clothing, perfume, jewelry, greeting cards, zippers, leather bags, underwear, and lingerie. Anything you could possibly need!
Behind the statue of Minckeleers (with the gas flame) starts the Boschstraat with it’s extensive fish market which is famous all the way to France. The final stall on the fish market is a large, exotic fruit and vegetable stall.
