This place is all about the healing water coming from the thermal sources that are three centuries old deep inside the Cauberg Hill in Valkenburg. This is where the most beautiful spa of the Euregio is located. In Thermae 2000 you can relax no matter what season it is. The water temperature in the indoor and outdoor pool is 32°C. Aside from the various bubble baths and jet massages under water that provide for relaxation for the neck, back or shoulders, there is also an extensive Skin & Body department where you can get massages and first-class cosmetic treatments. For active people, exercise courses such as aqua gymnastics are offered. Thermae 2000 is also known for it’s many different saunas: apart from a number of “normal” saunas with temperatures between 70 and 90°C, there are also two Finish saunas with temperatures of 90-95°C. One of them works on wood and the other has an open fireplace. The Bio-Sauna, also known as the sauna of colors, is a thermal cabin with a temperature of about 50°C, in which slowly changing light and stimulating aromas provide for relaxation. Besides these there are also two Roman baths and a Turkish steam bath, in which Arabian rasul treatments are offered. Here, different kinds of clay are applied to the skin before you enter the steam bath.
