The reformer Calvijn is often described as 'anti-musical'. Camerata Trajectina shows that thanks to Calvijn an enormous repertoire of brilliant Protestant songs was able to develop. From the composition of the Geneva Psalter to the song collection Uytspanningen (1676) by the preacher Lodenstein.
