Each year the Theater aan het Vrijthof presents numerous festivals that aim to present the outstanding artistic qualities of performing arts in the city of Maastricht. By doing so, the Theater aan het Vrijthof strives to promote Maastricht as a city of culture and to stimulate the debate in the city. The theatre also hosts the finest national and international performing arts on an almost daily basis - a wide variety of theatre, dance, music, cabaret, musical theatre and youth theater.
