The Maastricht Toneelstad Festival (City of Theatre festival) is celebrating its fifth anniversary. The fifth edition is therefore set to be something special. In 2012, the festival coincides with the international conference OISTAT in Maastricht, with the theme "the development in scenography and theatre costume". This is the reason for holding this year's festival in April. Once again, partners from the region (and particularly the Euregion), top Dutch theatre companies and international theatre companies will join forces in putting together a varied, artistic and exciting programme, linking up with the theme of the OISTAT conference. The Maastricht Toneelstad Festival is aimed at theatre lovers and curious theatre-goers.
