’t Magisch Theatertje, which is located on the edge of Maastricht, is unique because of its puppet theatre for both adults and children. It’s become a household name for visitors from the Euregio and beyond as well. ‘t Magisch Theatertje was created in 1996 by Henk Boerwinkel, known from Theatre Triangel, and Charlotte Puijk-Joolen, who has been travelling around the world with her husband, visual artist Roel Puijk, for years. The puppet theatre days are organized annually. These are of a high international level, and that is why top international artists like performing in ‘t Magisch Theatertje. The theatre has 80-100 seats. Private performances are also available for groups. They also teach workshops and courses.
