Ever since November 1944 this cemetery has been a final resting-place for 8,301 American Soldiers who gave their life for our freedom. The 260,000 m2 of ground is a place of honour where you can remember our history. Take your time and walk up the steps to the Court of Honour where you will find a  memorial tower with the awesome cemetery behind it. The Netherlands have made this piece of land available for eternity to give all the Americans buried here a well-deserved resting-place.
