The Centre Céramique is located directly on the Meuse river, between the old city centre of Wyck and the ultramodern, hip suburb of Céramique. During the course of the year, the heart of the city holds dozens of free exhibitions such as the World Press Photo, as well as cultural-historic and archaeological exhibitions on the city and its surrounds. What’s more, the area has its own library with a highly varied collection. Centre Céramique also acts as a stage for concerts, lectures and workshops and has a café where customers can sit and read.
