The statue garden and Peter Schuijren’s (1944-2006) atelier are located on a rolling hill of the Savelsbos. This sculptor came from Mechelen and was schooled at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht. His collection is exhibited in the former shed and includes life-sized portrayals of mankind made from Carrara marble or moulded in bronze in the atelier’s own bronze foundry. You will not only find figurative works here, but also expressive statues from abstract series. In addition, there are constantly changing expositions. Group tours are also possible.



Opening hours

September, October and April-June each Saturday and Sunday between 14:00-18:00. Visits on any other day of the year are possible to arrange by phone or by just ringing the doorbell.
