In 2010, expressive artist Dorine Beusmans-Kuijaars started the “Doorzicht” sculpture garden in the Campagne area of Maastricht. The beautifully built garden mainly consists of works by Dorine herself, sometimes combined with other artists’ works. Dorine creates bronze and concrete statues from clay. Characteristic of her work are the powerful lines and surfaces with a central theme of reciprocity that complete each other.
