Every Sunday, you can visit the Sunday Market La Batte, winding for two kilometres along the Quai de la Meuse. La Batte originally is a busy Belgian market, but has grown to be an international market with great variety in clothes, furniture, food and drinks. This can all be found in real market stalls as well as in improvised stalls, for example under parasols. After combing the market, you can sit and chat in one of the cafes close to the market. One of the favourites is definitely Café Lequet.
