Eglise Saint-Pholien
Eglise Saint-Pholien
Rue Saint-Pholien
4020l Liège
The church, that was rebuilt in 1914 in neo-Gothic style, is famous for the scenery that was used in the well-known Maigret novels of Georges Simenon (Le pendu de Saint-Pholien). Especially the images from the 13th and the 19th century and the retable from the 19th century dedicated to the life of St. Pholien are worth seeing.
