Continium is the first Discovery Centre in the Netherlands and it sets an amazing example as to what a modern and interactive museum can do. Science and technique come to life at the museum. In worlds with various themes such as energy, living, working or creativity, adults and children can see, hear and feel how science influences their lives and what it could mean for the future. For example, visitors can test their skills by holding a mirror that reflects rays of sunshine to generate energy for a racecar. About 20 experimenting stations welcome you to explore and discover. Furthermore, the ‘Science Labs’ offers the opportunity to gain practical experience and a 3D theatre provides compelling impressions. Children can playfully stimulate their own senses in a play corner – an ideal setting for birthday parties.
