The 18 hole golf course of the ‘Limburg Golf & Country Club’ was laid out on 65 acres of land, designed by the famous British golf course architect Fred Hawtree in 1966. It consists of heath land, sand dunes and woodlands. The golf course is even well playable for all handicap levels. The many doglegs require a dynamic way of playing. In 2007, this golf course was crowned the best course of Belgium; it is widely known to be one of the most varied in Belgium.
