Albert Vaesen was born in Hechtel in 1946. As a young man he started his creative career with wood carving. Later on he experimented with iron, aluminium and copper. Eventually, copper became his favourite material to work with. He has grown to become a respected artist. Albert Vaesen also works on commission. He exhibits his pieces of art in his own sculpture garden, where the natural green is combined with copper art. A path will take you along some 100 pieces of art.
