Burg Wilhelmstein is without a doubt the most beautiful open-air theatre in the region. A great number of performances is always scheduled in the summer season, which makes the theatre one of the most popular places to go to in Germany.

The programme consists of international and Euregional top acts. This in combination with the fantastic atmosphere of the thirteenth-century castle ruin offers a very special experience. There are concerts in all kinds of musical styles in the amphitheatre this year, but the emphasis is on world music and jazz. You can enjoy live performances of for example: Steve Lukather, The Hooters, Randy Brecker, Bill Evans mit Medeski Martin & Wood, Tina Dico, Hazmat Modine, Manfred Leuchter, Erdmöbel, Staff Benda Bilili and Wilfried Schmickler. Cabaret/comedy and movies in the biggest and most beautiful cinema on the left Rhine bank in combination with a varied programme for the whole family are also on the schedule.
