The former Brauer umbrella factory today houses a very significant collection of international contemporary art. Every aspect is represented, from American pop art to contemporary art, and the Forum also offers two halls for events, the “Mulde (bowl)” and “the space”, offering areas for numerous music and dance events as well as for performances and film shows. Temporary exhibitions, museum educational and other events offer a rich and varied view of art. The forum also contains an ample specialized library with numerous books, periodicals and new media about the art of the 20th and 21st centuries, which can be used free of charge.
